We ran across Katie's blog site when we were doing research for the Umbaugh Family Blog. Turns out that she is the daughter of Danial Umbaugh, grandaughter of Arnold Dick Umbaugh, and Great grandaughter of Cecil Umbaugh who as it turns out was one of my Dad's (Ken Umbaugh) favorite people when he was growing up in Indiana...Small World!

Mary Umbaugh's trip to Japan

Shortly before John and Heather's departure, Mary made a trip to Japan, visiting many interesting places. For those that aren't aware of it Mary is a potter and wanted to visit some of the world famous pottery centers in Japan.
